PASTFIVE / LEGAL

Terms &
Conditions.

Effective August 28, 2026

01

Using Pastfive

Pastfive is an editorial discovery service for events and experiences in New York City. You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial planning. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

02

Event information

We curate information from venues, organizers, ticketing services, and other public sources. Dates, times, prices, availability, age restrictions, accessibility details, and event descriptions can change. Always confirm important details with the official venue or ticket provider before traveling or purchasing.

03

Tickets and third parties

Pastfive is not the organizer, venue, or ticket seller unless expressly stated. Ticket purchases, reservations, refunds, cancellations, entry requirements, and disputes are governed by the third party you transact with. Links to third-party services are provided for convenience and do not make Pastfive responsible for those services.

04

Accounts and Saved Plans

An account is required to save plans. You are responsible for activity associated with your account and for keeping your sign-in access secure. Saved Plans are provided as a planning convenience; saving an event does not reserve a place, hold a ticket, or guarantee availability.

05

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape it at a disruptive scale, impersonate another person, or use Pastfive content to build a competing commercial database without written permission.

06

Pastfive content

Pastfive’s branding, design, curation, editorial notes, and original copy belong to Pastfive or its licensors. Event names, venue names, photographs, and third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners. You may share links to Pastfive and individual plans for personal use.

07

Newsletter

If you join the Pastfive newsletter, you agree to receive the editorial emails described at signup. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in an email. Account registration and newsletter subscription are separate choices.

08

Privacy and cookies

Pastfive currently uses essential cookies or similar storage only for security, authentication, Saved Plans, and remembering that you have seen the cookie notice. We do not currently use advertising cookies. Please read our Privacy Policy for details about the information we collect, how it is used, retention, service providers, and your choices.

09

Availability and warranties

We work to keep Pastfive useful and accurate, but the Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pastfive disclaims implied warranties and does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free information, event quality, safety, or availability.

10

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pastfive will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Site, attendance at an event, reliance on event information, or transactions with third parties. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

11

Changes

We may update the Site or these Terms as Pastfive evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

12

Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Questions about these Terms may be sent to hello@pastfiveevents.com.
